Judge Michele Fiore, born in Brooklyn, New York, has called Nevada home since 1993. Raised by a single mother, she was instilled with a strong work ethic and a sense of independence. She is a devoted mother to two daughters, Sheena and Savanah. Sheena is a high school teacher married to David, a first responder. Savanah is successful in the casino industry and a mother of five. Fiore’s girls have blessed her with seven grandchildren: Jake, Morrigan, Mara, Jayden, Jemma, Jackson, and Jetson. Michele cared for her late mother for the past decade, Lill Fiore, until her peaceful departure on September 21, 2023.

On December 20, 2022, Judge Fiore received a unanimous appointment by the Nye County Commission as The Pahrump Justice of The Peace for Department B. In this esteemed position, she undertakes a multifaceted role that involves overseeing preliminary hearings, trials, bail hearings, and arraignments for a wide array of cases, ranging from serious felonies like open murder and sexual assault to minor infractions such as traffic violations and civil proceedings. The Justice Court, where Judge Fiore presides, serves as the bedrock of the legal process, ensuring the fair administration of justice within the community.

From 2017-2022, during her tenure as the Ward 6 Councilwoman for the City of Las Vegas and Mayor Pro Tem, Judge Fiore demonstrated her unwavering commitment to public service. She served on several community boards, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), where she tirelessly promoted Las Vegas as a premier tourist destination. Additionally, she championed causes related to workforce development, public health, and military-civilian relations, embodying her dedication to fostering a thriving community.

In January 2018, Judge Fiore assumed the esteemed position of Republican National Committeewoman for the State of Nevada, a role she embraced with dedication and vigor. She embarked on a statewide journey throughout her tenure, engaging with fellow Republicans across every county, fostering camaraderie, and promoting the party’s goals.

However, upon her appointment as a Judge, Judge Fiore made the noble decision to relinquish her position within the Republican National Committee. Recognizing the paramount importance of judicial impartiality and the avoidance of any semblance of impropriety, she gracefully stepped down from her role, exemplifying her unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of the judiciary.

Judge Fiore’s exemplary service extends beyond her party engagements. She served two terms in the Nevada Legislature, representing Assembly District 4 from 2012 to 2016. She was pivotal on various committees, including Education, Health and Human Services, Commerce and Labor, Judiciary, Legislative Operations and Elections, and Transportation. Her legislative acumen was further demonstrated through sponsoring 119 bills, a testament to her dedication to enacting positive change.

Moreover, Judge Fiore’s commitment to public service is underscored by her involvement in numerous interim committees, where she tackled complex issues with compassion and resolve. From her contributions to committees addressing matters like the medical use of marijuana and laws concerning sex offender registration to efforts aimed at preventing sexual abuse of children, Judge Fiore’s dedication to the welfare of her constituents shines through.

Judge Fiore’s unwavering dedication to serving her community with integrity, compassion, and wisdom is evident in all her endeavors. Her multifaceted experiences and tireless advocacy reflect her profound commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.

Politics aside, Fiore has over 37 years of experience in business and entrepreneurship; Judge Fiore has left an indelible mark on Nevada. As the CEO of multiple successful ventures, including a construction firm, a home health care company, a consulting firm, and a publishing house, she has created over 1,800 jobs in the state. Her leadership role demanded adept budget management, policy decision-making, and a steadfast commitment to customer service. Notably, Judge Fiore ventured into filmmaking, producing an independent film, “Siren,” which premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.

Judge Fiore’s journey of service extends beyond politics and business. As a community activist, she volunteered countless hours to the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), offering crisis intervention support to trauma victims and first responders. She also collaborated with Metro’s SWAT team, ensuring community safety through live drills, and promoting accountability within law enforcement by participating as a board member of Metro’s use of force board.

In her leisure time, Judge Fiore cherishes moments with her adult children, and grandchildren and continues to pursue lifelong learning endeavors. Her dedication to public service, compassionate nature, and intellectual curiosity epitomize her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others and the betterment of her community.
